We hope to move and inspire you, to connect you to a compelling culture that is in and of the rainforest, to people who live intimately with this beautiful Earth.
When: Saturday, March 10, 2:00 – 5:00 PM
Where: West Acton Baptist Church (location of Acton Coop), 592 Massachusetts Avenue, Acton, MA 01720
What: A gathering in community, to enjoy what really matters: each other’s presence! And to share that joy by connecting with communities in tropical Panama.
- To entertain the kiddies, we’ll feature Ed Morgan, The Music Man, and we’ll have light snacks. Fun!
- Personally carried all the way from Panama, we will make available for purchase just a few beautiful pieces of
Emberá and Wounaan artisanal works
From small jewelry to lovely baskets and wood carving, they are all personally hand made and will keep you connected to the Darien rainforest as you go about your busy life.
- We’ll give you plenty of information about what you’ll be supporting with your attendance, purchases and donations.
Our goal for this event is to raise $2500, part of our total $20,000 program budget. Together with your help we will reach it, and we are so grateful for your support.
We are a 501(c)(3), 100% volunteer organization: all proceeds go directly towards program costs.
Tickets are per person, children and adults the same price. Please select the quantity of tickets you would like, and you will be taken to PayPal to complete the transaction securely.
The first TWENTY tickets sold will get a FREE family pass to the Discovery Museum in Acton! (Limit one per family)
Please note that at the event itself, we can only accept cash.
